Emile Donnay was born in Belgium in 1885. By the time he was 24, he was the general manager of a successful retail chain called Courtheoux. In 1910, Emile founded the Donnay Company. In 1934, the Donnay Company built its first wooden tennis racket out of ash. Since then, Donnay has produced millions of tennis rackets worldwide. |
